ArtBeat is Somerville's annual multi-media street party! The festival showcases the City's diverse and vibrant arts communities and attracts ten thousand visitors to Davis Square. ArtBeat is now its 29th year and features an eclectic mix of music, dance, theater, food, performance and interactive activities. This year’s ArtBeat theme is “loops,” a celebration of all things that loop, encircle, repeat and play back in endless cycles.

The Inside-Out Gallery is located in the CVS Window in Davis Square, a unique space that allows the public to view an eclectic array of works from artists and local organizations each month. It is the goal of the Somerville Arts Council to showcase the cultural diversity that community has to offer.

Made in NY is an annual exhibit at the Schweinfurth Art Center that features work by New York artists.  The exhibition encourages creativity and innovation, and includes all mediums.

"Don't Draw the Line" is an exhibition of work by 11 Pratt MFA students curated by Pratt History of Art MS student Diana Bowers. It is on view at Pratt Brooklyn's Steuben Gallery. Gallery hours: M-F, 1-5.

The closing reception will be on Saturday, October 19th from 6-9pm, coinciding with Pratt MFA Open Studios Fall 2013.
